Cassmark

Here are the Cassmark lyrics for the Squelch EP album.

**** Pyrosa **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Still in your dreams
Unfair it seems
An unknown state
Lifetime relate

Caring too much for
Reasons for healing or
Pressure to make it more
What is it you adore
Corner of the room
Know just where I loom
Guessing I assume
There in heart then in doom

Round in doubt
So devout
All's about
Never seeing it throughout

Pyrosa should be left for fame
Become the love that you exclaim
Set rules made into a game
Recognize them all the same

Still in your dreams
Unfair it seems
An unknown state
Lifetime relate

Pyrosa never left a flame
Surrendered love without an aim
Set rules fit inside a frame
Recognize nothing here's the same

**** Squelch **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Took a lot to meet you friend
Made a fold caused by a bend
Wanted by a need
Taken as a form of greed

Down to a sliver
I could not deliver
They'll intertwine
Gives it a lasting shine
Starting to end
A start that we depend
To keep our form
Seasons temper what is warm
Fools relive all the norm
The past is just a brainstorm

Squelch and consider
Squelch and deliver

Took a friend to re-embark
Questions left in the dark
Started from a seed
Following learn to lead

Down to a sliver
I could not deliver
They'll intertwine
Gives it a lasting shine
Starting to end
A start that we depend
To keep our form
Seasons temper what is warm
Fools relive all the norm
The past is just a brainstorm

Squelch and consider
Squelch and deliver

Share my friend it's overdue
Take a stand and follow through
Wanted by a need
Follow learn to lead

**** Cavity **** (By Jim Frangelo)

I'm whisper stricken
Your breath it thickens
There's something major
I'd like to wager

I'll stay on chase
Locked in and just in case
You're torn on fear
Won't stop what will appear
Caught in a phase
As if you've left today's
Uneven tilt

Fairytale past you live
Everything I couldn't give
Fairytale past you live
Everything I couldn't give
Surfacing tried and true
Onward to something new
Collective past ensue
You're right but it's not true

Overexposed
Your high my low of lows
Try tried again
Now turning into then
Glass overfilled
As if you've meant to spill
Uneven tilt

I'm whisper stricken
Your breath it thickens
There's something major
I'd like to wager

Fairytale past you live
Everything I couldn't give
Fairytale past you live
Everything I couldn't give
Surfacing tried and true
Onward to something new
Collective past ensue
You're right but it's not true
Surfacing tried and true
Onward to something new
Collective past ensue
You're right but it's not true

**** Yet **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Here's one for me
Could not believe
How long it's been
Effortlessly often

Smiling ribbon special rarity
Set aside by my own vanity
Thinking all be well come clarity
Often let down by humanity

Escaping from
Everything's glum
Let's count on slack
All we need is all we lack
Still will surround
Common sense to keep you bound
Should have just laughed
Find some friends make it a craft

Never let it follow
Inside out so hollow
Cannot stop to borrow
Look back come tomorrow
Never let it never follow
Inside out inside so hollow
Couldn't stop can't stop to borrow
Looking back coming tomorrow

There's one for you
Broken in two
Alas not yet
Some things to never set

Smiling ribbon special rarity
Set aside by my own vanity
Thinking all be well come clarity
Often let down by humanity
Smiling ribbon welcomes clarity
Set aside by your own sanity
Thinking all be well come charity
Often let down by my vanity

Cassmark

Here are the Cassmark lyrics for the debut Self-Titled album.

**** Simple Ties **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Downtown I’ll see you around
There stare off the glare

Of memories a past that never left your mind
The simple stories that you know you’ll always find
A new beginning in all that is unkind
The simple stories on your mind

Here we’re most of the downtime
There care lost in air
Memories all mine

Downtown I stand
Memories another man’s
Many days yesterday
Counterfeit keep away
Memories understand
Simple ties every man

**** Window View **** (By Jim Frangelo)

All summers behind you
Greet you with nothing new
My what a window view
You smile all alone too

Tried to be the common bond again
Tried to stay the same
You’re not alone I said again and then
I thought myself away

I like the fact there is Nothing to really say
Where do you go for proof?
Where do you hide away?

Good people they’re near me Wish they all could stay
Good people forever
Not just for today

And I know it has begun
Just as soon as it is done
And I know it has begun Just as soon as it is done
I know it’s done

Summer’s behind you
Summer’s behind you
Summer’s behind you
Summer’s behind you

And I know it has begun
Just as soon as it is done
And I know it has begun Just as soon as it is done
I know it’s

**** Flash **** (By Jim Frangelo)

There’s still a child in you
Thought you’d start anew
And look too far ahead
You look for signs instead

Within your tainted youth
You would show some tooth
And look too far ahead
To think of what was said

Strange human head
Aura shades of red
Strange human head
Take the signs and make them spread

There is still a child in you I thought you’d start anew

Take me far away Not since yesterday
Take me far away
Not to yesterday
Take me far away Not since yesterday
Take me far away
Not to yesterday

**** For All **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Then there was nothing there
All in a day
So tired and aware
What not to stay
To lie all alone
Every chance you take
Why question all you know
For your own sake

A sign of the times now
A counting clock that’s on the wall
Your beaming it’s timeless
A moment lost but not for all

Man will not change man I know
So well I changed alone
There is another way out
To question all you’ve known

Your effort is merely
A mounted clock that’s on the wall
Still seeming it’s priceless
A worthy cost but not for all

Man will not change man I know
So well I changed alone
There is another way out
To question all you’ve known

Then there was nothing there
All in a day
So tired and aware
What not to stay
To lie all alone
Every chance you take
Why question all you know
For your own sake

Man will not change man I know
So well I changed alone
There is another way out
To question all you’ve known

**** Shallow **** (By Jim Frangelo)

The sky a plastic dawn am I
To tag along the road behind
And try to be a friend all by
Myself until I turn to

Find in you something to do
I must be sad given all I once
Had some goals the jealous stole
By running water down a stream too shallow

On the sidewalk I would stand
Thought about it just as planned again
Give me now I'’ll tell you then
And you can’t find where to end again

Timeless a time no more
Waiting to underscore
Everything to ignore
Shallow times to fend for

The sky a plastic dawn am I
To tag along the road behind
And try to be a friend all by
Myself until I turn to

Find You
Find You
Find You
Find You

**** Switches **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Get outside
Before too long I’ll tell you how I’ve tried
Could not decide
The choice of two iit always ends up tied
A split that comes from deep inside
A choice that has no stride

Civilly Still
Waiting Until
Ends of the Line
Falsely fulfill

Where do I go from here for now
So many ways to find out how
Caught up with hopelessly old dreams
Confused with what’s to be redeemed

Civilly Still
Waiting Until
Ends of the Line
Falsely fulfill

Get outside before long
You’ll tell me how you’ve tried
Not sure where it comes from
Split choice make my mind

Where do I go from here for now
So many ways to find out how
Caught up with hopelessly old dreams
Confused with what to deem

**** Rise **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Red lines I hold on to
Remember all I do
No time here’s some for you
Your time’s in numbers too

Hopelessness and looking down
Standards of a boring town

Debt is not from lies and
Seldom told
There’s freedom in all to buy
When everything's sold
Uneven shape and size in
A fool’s gold
Bank cards tend to lie
In plastic molds

Constant search for freedom seeming there Everywhere
Lack of funding
I don’t care

Suggested, unmentioned, overviewed
I learned a good lesson in the nude
Constant search for freedom scaring there everywhere
Lacking standards no repair

Red lines I hold on to
Remember all I do
No time here’s some for you
Your time’s in numbers too

Think to go in form of lines
I think of city signs
You never grew to grow
You should have claimed to know
Enough to change a slanted side in ancient
Time is spaced in ordered lines
I look for other signs
I never grew to grow
You wanted me to know
Of freedom born in lies the story tried to
Rise in passing light of seldom told
Still being sold

**** Rose **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Lost it solid proof
Lasting sea of youth
Got a lot not a lot to use
Minding open to

Find it over here
You were just this near
Strangely undergo
Walking down below
All for fear of end
Unwarned to pretend

Lost it right there
Kind words impair
Never declare
Pointing in stare

For all the ones that know
Some story that she chose
A nice route a steady pace
To walk to a better place

Find it over here
You were just this near
Strangely undergo
Walking down below
All for fear of end
Unwarned to pretend

**** Miltown **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Here is a spot made for your standing
Excellent boost parallel landing
Sometimes the ground it seems so enchanting
Laughing out loud at everyone’s ranting

Strain on my hands
Misunderstand
Results from timid ness
Force to expand
Change a constant growth
Named enough for both
Used the words you know
Lonely oaths

Can’t be labeled by
What you question why
Give them all a sigh
Tell them all that I
Can’t be labeled by
What I question why
Take a deeper sigh
Wish them all this shy

All we should need a new source of power
Alertness to stay within the hour
Sometimes the ground seeming so sour
A fire dispersed the fire devoured

Can’t be labeled by
What you question why
Give them all a sigh
Tell them all that I
Can’t be labeled by
What I question why
Take a deeper sigh
Wish them all this shy

Strain on my hands
Misunderstand
Results from timid ness
Force to expand
Change a constant growth
Named enough for both
Used the words you know
Lonely oaths

**** The Bowl **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Remembering when
A change in all then
Forever in a youth that come and let it go
And all in one place
I’ve had a good trace
Still pointed out that you really didn’t know
So vastly able
While turning tables
A lasting thought and you ought to let it show

Wasted allowed you to
Save it I wanted to

A nice side your own sake
Don’t mention the mistakes
Unrealized it was fake
I’m in on your new take

Where I’d been
The bowl is again
Forever with the youth to come and let it go
Never just in case
To try and replace
A lasting thought that you never could outgrow

Wasted allowed you to
Save it I wanted to
Face it for all of you
Take it I want for you

A nice side your own sake
Don’t mention the mistakes
Unrealized it was fake
I’m in on your new take

**** Successor **** (By Jim Frangelo)

Innocence so anxious
Expanding getting old
Persistent obsession
Endlessly uncontrolled
Redefined permanence
Signified by a sign
Simplified impatience
Lasting decline

Refusal willingly
Stayed alone with me
Confused we all agree
In finding sanity

Resistance so anxious
Implying to unfold
Refining repression
Endlessly to behold
Unsettled reclaiming
Innocence that was mine
Interpret simply by
Following the lines

Reject obsess over
Successor absentee
Your sight’s on October
Elusive memory
Render into order
Collection of debris
From the current border
Wanted it all for free

Refusal willingly
Stayed alone with me
Confused we all agree
Finding insanity

Existence so anxious
Expanding to withhold
Rewarded aggression
Endlessly uncontrolled
Unsettled renaming
Innocence that was mine
Simplified impatience
Lasting decline

Reject obsess over
Successor absentee
Your sight’s on October
Elusive memory
Render into order
Collection of debris
From the current border
Wanted it all for...

Cassmark

Cassmark (aka Sarcastic Remark) is multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter/lyricist Jim Frangelo's self-proclaimed "musical engine", founded 2004 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The music stems from Jim's dedication and persistence in expressing his distinct musical unconventionalities. He plays, writes, and sings all of his originally written music. Jim mainly uses guitars, bass, and drums along with his voice to create his sound.

Jim's songwriting efforts, recording techniques, instrumental ability and vocal patterns have interested many of those who have listened to Cassmark. His musical spectrum and interpretations are one of a kind, and he finds them completely natural. Many listeners come to say that they cannot sum up Cassmark with just one listen.

Jim insists it's a healthy challenge to be the main input and output of Cassmark's sound. Committed to a free-flowing thoght process in musical ideas, he found it logical to build a songwriting method based upon creative freedom. Jim prepares each song's parts individually, and this writing method provides structure in the combination of these parts.

There's a lot of online social networking out there and since we don't have people working for us keeping up with all of them and because we kind of like talking with you all OURSELVES, we're going to limit our interactions to MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. I know, I know...the big ones. But, hey, they're fun. And we'll still keep uploading content on here but as far as day-to-day blogging and all that, become a fan on those previously mentioned sites. Come on over!
